Cinderellas evil step mother shoved her into the upstairs tower room and locked the door. She slipped the key into her pocked and patted it to make sure it was secure. As she descended the great set of stairs she chuckled an evil laugh to herself. Cinderella was now furious, she just couldnt live with herself to know that one of her unworthy step sister might be the one taking her place beside the Prince, the Prince that she danced with, the Prince that chased her when she ran, but could not keep up the Prince that was searching for her at this moment. A few tears began rolling down her cheeks. No! She thought, I cannot cry! Im much too angry!
She looked over at the mouse hole underneath the widow sill to see a few of her mouse friends scurrying out. Cinderelly! they squeaked, she went to them and picked them up in the palm of her hand. The closet one cried. Theres an axe! Jack told me so!
