For awhile, the neighbor's cat (whom I called Thaddeus) was coming over fairly often for playtime and cuddles. Then they moved away, taking Thaddeus with them. :>( I really missed that cat, so two days ago, I went to the shelter and got my own kitty. She is all-black with gorgeous orangey-gold eyes. She was named Boo at the shelter, but my best friend and I came up with a better name: Elvira! She's about 4 years old, spayed, has her shots, and is even microchipped. Her former owners had her declawed in front, too.

Elvira is a real attention whore! She loves to play, loves being petted, and sleeps with me at night. If I don't play with her all the time, she gets bored and starts looking for stuff to get into.
