Freemason display case

A shot of the display case, with lots of old Freemasonry stuff. Included are:

Porcelain dishes and vases
Ceremonial hats
Two swords
Various badges and pins
Bibles and other books

The gentleman who used the main office, Jim Simmons, told me that his father had been a Freemason, and I think some of this stuff belonged to him. Others he collected over the years--he had loads of antiques in his office. I wish I had taken the time to ask him about some of the stuff. Unfortunately, he passed away from cancer last year.

Btw, the object on the top left of the cabinet is a rope candle. The wick is contained in a long coil of wax, and you light the top of it. There's a small key to turn to adjust the height of the wick. I've never seen anyone actually light this one, though.
