Star Wars recycled cabinetby =Vivienne-Mercier

This is a jewelry box/cabinet thing that I made a LONG time ago. The top picture is what it looked like before I refinished it; the other two are after. I made this for a friend who is a Star Wars fan. I cut out pictures from old magazines of Star Wars characters and decoupaged them all over the outside, then covered the inside with dark blue, starry fabric. It turned out very cool.

Unfortunately, these are the only pictures I have of this, and they didn't turn out good at all. I tried to sharpen them up a bit, but they still look pretty crappy. Wouldn't mind making another someday, but I gave away almost all my Star Wars things, including boxes of old comics and magazines.

Yes, it did take a long time, a few days as I recall. I just wish the pictures had turned out better. There are Star Wars characters and scenes all over the outside, cut from old magazines. It looked so cool, I was reluctant to give it away!
